The migration project& conversion of existing Simatic S5 control system to S7 system. This press machine is used to make high strength refractory bricks which are used for furnace lining. The system uses position encoding and positioning which is executed using positioning and encoder modules from S7.
Hence the migration involves absolute understanding of the functioning and design of the entire operation.
FM452 is used as a CAM controller in the system.

The scope of work included:

1. Design of control systems.
2. Software development & Commissioning.
