Masterdrive VC 55KW is used in winder application of rewinding line. Before winder there is a nip roll on which incremental encoder was mounted and connected to high speed inputs of S7-200 PLC.Length calculation is done in PLC according to the length set from TD200.

The system ensures that there is smooth auto slowdown and accurate stopping of the winder at the correct length of winding. This has reduced wastage considerably.
