Automation system for Captive Power for Steel Plant.
Hot standby system is used for CPU redundancy. Application software is developed in PCS7- V6.0. Monitoring and Operation of Power Plant is controlled by one ES/OS and two OS. Boiler control, turbine control, auto controlled closed loop operation for 3-element drum level control, furnace draft control and de aerator level control are provided for smooth operation of power generation.
Sequence of event recorder system is provided for diagnosis. To observe the energy reading utilized for power generation Modbus RTU protocol is used. Ash handling automation system is also provided.
