The automation system for wire drawing & insulation machine in tandem at maximum speed of 2000 mpm. The machine has wire drawing section, annealer section, extrusion, wire cooling section & winder. The winder was equipped with online auto changeover system in which the speed synchronization was done by the PLC.

The changeover occurs in case of fault in the running winder as well as upon achieving the target length. The WinCC HMI monitors all the drive related parameters viz. speed, current, motor temperature and permits required machine settings.

The scope of work included:

2. Software development & Commissioning.
