Automation for Carbon Intake System in a material handling system to transfer carbon from Intake to silos and Day Bins. The Day Bins feed six Banbury mixers. Material transfer is by pneumatic pressure. The system is designed by CHRONOUS RICHARDSON, U.K. The automation system uses Simatic S7-400 and WAGO I/Os on Profibus.

MP277 is used for the Carbon feed route Selections, Graphics, Alarms and Control.

The scope of work included:

1. Design and supply of control systems/ cabinets.
2. Software development
3. Commissioning and performance trials.
