The gas exploration compressor system was part of expansion for ONGC Hazira. This system is used to compress the low-pressure gas collected from the gas wells, from about 2Kg/cm2 to 20 Kg/cm2.

The automation system has redundant IO and hot standby CPU, to control the compressor operation. Communication with the engine driven compressor is through redundant Modbus.

The scope of work included:

• Design of control systems.
• Software development & Commissioning.
