Automation system for Continuous Vacuum Pan process in sugar plant.
This process controls the Cell Feed Controls. Efficient Crystal Growth requires accurate control of the concentration of sugar solution in each compartment of the CVP’s. Each compartment of the CVP is controlled to individual set points in order to establish the required brix profile along the pan. Feed Valves for each compartment are controlled by time proportional output from PID Control loop.
PID control functions are done in the PLC and the operator interface is done in the SCADA. The system provides a user-friendly operator interface to the process plant and enables centralized control and operation of the CVP. The SCADA system supports real time and historical trending as well as Day, Shift wise Production reports.
