The power monitoring System is a part of Building Integration System for Dubai International Airport Expansion (Phase II) for T3, C2 & Car Park. The objective of this project is to design and deliver redundant OPC servers and application software developed in visual basic 6.0 to access online alarms, events, data and archive data.

There are 7 workstation & 2 server with cluster configuration. Each of the seven workstations with application software of OPC servers communicate with maximum 127 modbus TCP devices and provide online alarms, events, and data to the redundant OPC Servers and log historical data in SQL Server 2005, both of which can be accessed by BIS Client on OPC client server concept. Further this data is provided to energy billing system for energy consumption and billing for same.
