SAC is to sort the checked-in baggage at airports to their destination carousels with reference to the passenger baggage data, the flight information and the sort plan. It interfaces with BSM - SITA Bag message Server in London, IX- Information Exchange Server in Istanbul and the Beumer Sorter PLC in Enfidha. Redundant SAC servers are provided for high availability. |

• Input collection. |

• Project management, planning and project organization were supplied to the client. |

• The functional design specification (FDS) was provided based on tender documents and the requirements discussed during input collection. |
|

• The functional design specification listed the functional requirements of the system, functional solutions for the requirements, software architecture, screenshots, hardware configuration and list of open issues. |

|
• After the open issues were resolved the final copy of FDS was approved by the client. |
|
|
• Similarly the interface specification documents were made for the partner interfaces of SAC with IX, Beumer and SITA and were approved by the client and other partners. |

• The development of software, modular testing, integration testing and load testing was carried out based on FDS and IDS. |
|
|
• The FAT document was supplied listing all the test cases. |
|
|
• The FAT simulator was developed to simulate all the test cases listed in the FAT document. |
|
|
• During FAT, SAC was tested with FAT test case simulator. The FAT with all test cases was closed in two days. |
|
|
• The snag list generated during FAT was closed before commissioning started. |
|
|
• The commissioning, SAT and training was closed in less than seven days. |
|
|
• CAT and handover was seamless. |
